Been dealing with a bacterial bloom since two astraea snails decided to fall off the glass and I didn’t catch them until a day later as I was out of town. So this morning I completed a 3g water change on my 4g tank. While the water was low took all my zoas out and did and iodine dip and as I was pull them out to rinse I found this. Pretty sure it’s a zoa spider but want to make sure. Going to keep a close eye out for others. Inspected all frags and that is the only one I saw.

Water changes won't fix a bacterial bloom. Only UV sterilizer and time.

Zoa spider = bad. Keep an eye out for more.

Ordered a green killing machine 3w as it’s the only one that I think will fit thanks again for the info.

I've heard mixed reviews on those. I was going to suggest the smallest coralife unit. I have one of the larger one's I throw on my tank occasionally.

Same it won’t be in there 24/7 just when I need it. If it doesn’t work then I will look at something different.
