Ph in reef tank

My ph in my tank was reading low at 7.4 then once I added phosgaurd to get rid of my diatoms my ph has rose all the way to 8.8 what do I do.

Start by closing your windows and test the water again in an hour in case it’s a fluke. Keep an eye on your livestock and get ready to do a large water change if the reading is still high.
