I upgraded from apex classic to apex2016 and my ph reading is different. On the classic the reading was 7.7-7.95 and on the apex2016 it is 12.4 steady. Using another ph meter it is 7.69. Is the problem a need for calibration or a bad apex2016?

Forgot to mention the probe is new.
