I actually just received my skimmer. This will help with the PH? I also have algae growing now. This will assist as well?

Are the rest of my numbers ready to deploy a CUC?

yes running fresh air from outside the house will help run a higher and more stable pH. lower pH is caused mostly in our tank due to CO2 buildup. more echange with fresh air or algae to take up CO2 will cause pH to get better in general.
you dont mention your parameters. but if salinity is 1.021-1.026 temp 77-82 nitrates under 25 you should be fine.

If you have any ammonia and nitrite, your tank is NOT ready for cleanup crew.

that is correct. it means your tank is still going through its cycle. let it complete before adding anything live.

I would not assume a skimmer will raise pH. It might actually lower it if the air in your home has excess CO2 in it and you use indoor air.

If you can pull air from outside into your skimmer this will help a lot!! if not you can make a DIY soda lime Co2 scrubber for like $15 or less and connect your air line for your skimmer to that and it will help out.. I made one out of an airline fitting some foam and a plastic mayo jar..

But as mentioned chasing numbers will get you in trouble..

Stability matters much more than chasing a golden value!
