Ph question

what i want to know does your Ph go up or down at nite right now the Ph monitor is reading 8.4 i did add a to part A and B earleir,tank temp is at 78 degrees hardly ever raise above 79 degrees,Ca is about 420,Mg is 1350 give or take,actinics are the only lites on right now its 9:45 pm.Im old school not use to all this new equipment,whats funny im hooking up the new RKL tommorow that i won here thx again digital aquatics,and after hooking that up you guys will see more questions.Thx guys

Its normal for pH to decrease at night. One way to combat this is to light your refugium and macroalgaes on an opposite lighting schedule from your display tank.

With good aeration pH should not be low as long as the air in the room is oxygen rich. 8.4 is about the top of the range for my tank before i start seeing precipitation and buildup on the pumps.
