Hello. I intend to build a plywood tank based around a 220gal glass panel, but the glass would only be 1/2 thick. i'm finding conflicting information saying this is fine, or that i need 3/4 thick glass. I intend to have the viewing panel show 68x25 inches of the 72x29 pane. ( 2" of overlap each side for adhesion). Overall dimensions of the 'wet side' of the tank will be 78x78x35
Apologies for the low-effort post, but wanting to know if this would be do-able with a pane of that thickness or if i need to browse for something thicker before i plan ahead more.
