run two Kessil a500x’s in the evening for 3 hours since I don’t have corals, during the day natural sunlight shines into the tank due to being located near a window. Nitrates have been a steady 5.0-10.
Thought this was you

The algae is likely growing due to the sunlight hitt8ng your tank
And if you dig a little deeper that is caused by a nutrient issue which is what everyone here is already discussing. People have natural sun hit their tanks all the time with no issues. Once OP sort out nutrients the algae will follow if dealt with properly.

I feed one cube in the morning and one at night. Should I cut back to once per day until the gha is gone?

I did not dose today. Phosphate went down to .09 from .12 and nitrate went down to 9.8 from 10.9. If they’re up tomorrow morning I’ll dose.
