I am wanting to take better photos and videos of my tanks without having to always turn the light to bright white.

Are there any filters or attachments for a Canon D7X Mark II or iPhone that you would recommend?

I use an app called AZ Camera on my android. If you turn up the white balance and then adjust the ISO to suit, you can get some good photos of corals under blue lights. There are better ways but this is quick and simple for me.

There’s an Apple app called Aquarium Camera that is pretty good. There are also a few clip on lenses available. I picked up an Aquariclip by and at a lfs that’s pretty good. The app and lens produce pretty good up close pics. My tank is in a smal room with terrible lighting situation (for now) and it’s hard to get full tank shots so I’m not sure about that.

Macro lens and high powered DSLR are the ticket for that crisp close-up photography
