If you go on meet up there are (at least in my area) a few different photography groups that hold different classes a lot of which deal with lighting, you might want to give that a try. They some times bring in professional models and instruct you on how to get the best images.

Lighting is always difficult for me to get right. It looks good in person, and on the camera LCD...then it looks like crap when I get home and look at it on the computer. Some of my best shots I just kinda lucked out on the lighting. The 7d is wicked fast, but that alone won't necessarily make you a better photographer. It does help if you have a really fast 18 month old...

Im not expecting the 7d to make my pictures better, I want it for the speed, combined with the 70-200 f/2.8 USM II lens, it will be a great combonation and SUPER fast for football pictures, currently, my camera can only go 3200 ISO and the shutter speed has to be pretty low when shooting football, so my pictures look blurry!

Well shooting at 3200 will also kill you lol.

Yeah that is a sweet lens! I think something along those lines will be my next lens... I need something with more reach for sure.

I shot these with a 24-70 f2.8L

I use my 70-200IS MKII for everything let it be studio, park everything. Truly is the best lens made IMO. Only other lens's I use are my 50mm F1, 100L IS, 24 T/S and my MPE. All four of those I use mostly the 70-200.

lol, I tried to stay below 1600, but its STILL hard to keep it clean...VERY hard!

Those are really nice! I heard that the 24-70 is pretty much a BAG lens and is needed cause its sucha nice lens! How much does it run?And is that the L version?

I really like the 70-200, I messed around with one in the store, and took it outside and loved it!I used a friends for foot ball pictures aswell, one of the coolest lenses ever!

I rented a lens from them about 2 years ago and everything went well. Its great to be able to rent a several thousand dollar lens when going on vacation or just a great way to see what you like.
