I believe my culture has crashed. Here are before and after pics and what I used to start with. I was told this has a multiple strains but can work, it will just kill the bad strains off and I’ll keep the 1 strain. But sure what I did wrong, if it was the fertilizer I used (I used a plant fertilizer)

I was thinking I restart, get F2 fertilizer. Try to culture This again and see if I get the 1 strain. And then use that 1 strain and culture that from there ok forward.

I would get a good culture to start with, I don’t have experience with the reef nutrition phyto. But I have tried to culture one of the other sponsors on here with no success.

However I have had great success with culturing the phyto from @Eldredge

crashed. I would just get the Mercer Montana f2 fwertelizer w/ 2 bottles of nano. It wil work 100% better. if you want I have a thread outlining my exact procedure I used when cultivating phyto from this brand.

Likely you just let it go too long and it ran out of fertilizer.
Try f2 and nano, very easy.
As @wmb0003 said, pm @Eldredge, he can set you up.

Ok, thank you. Will try that. I already spent $20 on this phytoplankton. SMH
