Haddoni and Gem tang? I would never mix expensive fish with any carpet anemone, that would be a very expensive snack... Beautiful tank though.

Beautiful reef! Seeing all those sponges reminds me of a behind the scenes tour I took with our old reef club at a large public aquarium. One of their salt water exhibits had a lot of sponge, like this tank. One of our members asked the tour guide how they kept the sponges looking so healthy and vibrant - the answer was classic - "When they die, we get new ones." :)

Awesome pic's, thanks very much for sharing. I really am amazed by how many "rules" are broken here with obviously great results. How much fighting goes on between inhabitants? Is everything just kind of finding it's own area to call it's own? This is what can be truly called a mixed reef!

I have ONE fish a betta..just starting out.. I figure if I can't be in tropical waters all the time I may as well make an aquarium and this site seems to spark my interest in a BIGGER environment with MORE animals! I knew u can make tanks with living corals but WOW tis is just awesome!
Still would like to know the dimensions of this tank? 400gallon but can u measure it? Just curious if I would need a larger house to put 1 of those in! HAHA!!!!

There was a good sized clown trigger swimming around in the video. I wish I had that kind of money to throw around and experiment and hope everything plays nice. My emperor would have eaten all those sponges by now!

Great looking tank indeed! I hope it stays that way for the owner too!

From a visual perspective this is a stunning aquarium but this mixture of inhabitants is insane. It is borderline irresponsible. I understand we all make mistake in this hobby as we learn, but this looks like someone with just too much money. At least vivid is there to help minimize the damage.
