Hello,

Does anyone have some insight on Piece of Pie Scully? I saw one on WWC, didn't think Scullys can be fragged? So I was wonder if they grow into a normal looking scully? anything one might consider prior to purchasing this coral?

also WWC dosen't recommened dipping thier corals?

well, apparently scoly's can be fragged. Who knew?! I found an old, but awesome article on scolies that included the fragging process. It's not for beginners or the faint of heart, but it is being done. It looks like the frags being offered by WWC have survived the fragging process and could/should be fine.
As far as the article goes, it really is a great read. I wish I'd seen it a couple of years ago before my failed attempt at keeping a scoly.

Hope this helps.

This is genius on WWC's part. They will make 3 to 4 times more than selling the scoly as a colony!

I seen these when they were up for auction. I was wondering the samething about fragging them. Is the mouth fully healed? Can it eat? Pretty interesting.

WWC was telling one they had I was looking at was eating. Still trying to find through research how long it should take to complete looking like a Scully? Still might pull the trigger

dunno im in it just to see how the colors fill in. an yea it eats well mouth is fully recovered u can see the circle outline of it daylight shot of it
