My pincushion urchin is losing some of its spines. It not noticeable on him but I have been seeing them on the sand bed.

Wondering if this is normal (shedding/molting) or something to be concerned about? He is very active and there is plenty of algae for him to eat.

Usually signs of it being unhealthy. That’s what happen before mine have died.
