Hello there,

I just got some galaxaura rugosa macro algae, and i noticed these luminescent pink spots on it. they do seem sort of leathery. any thoughts? I'm hoping for hitchhiking pink mushrooms but i feel like that's probably not the case!

Dieing/stressed coralline turns pink. When I drop water level for a rare water change, the coralline exposed to air turns pink.

ah okay. it was definitely exposed to air for a few minutes when I took out the algae to acclimate it and then to cut part of the frag stem off, so that makes sense!
