Pink spotted shrimp goby hiding

I have had my pink spotted shrimp goby for about one year now and he is always out but just recently has been hiding could anyone help?

It's very typical, especially of the goby family to go into hiding for a vast list of potential reasons. Months at times I have seen and heard of. Weeks mia are typical.

I advise u check the ammonia levels every other day or so to make sure it isnt deceased and rotting into the water column. Be careful not to go moving rocks looking frantically as u could crush it if it is in fact, sheltering.

He was just hiding in a cave, plotting the right time to emerge and destroy every snail in your tank :)
