I received my pink ******* last week i was surprised that it is much smaller than I expected. I would like some feedback as to where you keep yours, lighting and is it a fast or slow grower for you.

I recieved a pretty small piece myself, I am talking REALLY small. Like maybe just the eye itself.I had to laugh and was really embarrassed when my gf asked how much I paid for it.she made a comment I wont repeat here. So I placed it on the bottom of my 30" deep tank lit by 400w radiums . It was very hard to tell if it was even alive for awhile, I even thought it was dead a few times so I stopped looking at it. A few months later I remembered it and to my suprise It didnt die and is now 2 eyes the size of a pea.I have moved it up about a third higher and it seems to like it there which is quite a lot of light. NotE: I only have the halides on 5 hrs a day and the ballast is turned down some. The rest of the day its just under actinic t5 .

It's a decent grower for me. I keep mine about half way up in a 30" tall tank, under 250W MH on 8hrs a day. Keeps it a nice bubble gum pink color.
