Your main concern with fairy wrasses will be the health of the fish upon receipt of fish, aggression from other tank mates(especially other wrasses), and jumping(get a lid).

Other than these three things their care is rather straightforward and undemanding. They are not picky eaters, should be fed at least twice a day, and do not require sand to sleep.

Thank you, i do have a lid, only possible agressors woukd be a starcki damsel and a trio of lyretails but they are all fairly mellow compared to what ive heard from other reports. My multibar angelfish could be a problem but he leaves all my other wrasses (leopard and flasher, formerly tamarin) alone.

Leopard wrasse may not like a sudden additional wrasse, would use an acclimation box to help with a peaceful transition [emoji4]

Non of my sand-dwelling wrasses ( I have 5) seem to even know my fairy wrasses are there. But the two groups bicker amongst themselves.

They often come with flukes and intestinal parasites, so I’d recommend QT. But as already mentioned, they are not picky eaters and usually acclimate well after a few days.

Here is mine:

I have a pintail with orangeback and at first orangeback would harass my pintail and now they get along.. beautiful fish

I have my eye out for an orange back, good combo - they are both pretty peaceful.
