Mine started eating in acclimation box and it got along with other wrasses in the tank. Same care as any flasher and fairy wrasses imo.
TY, here's another video of them chomping down on tuna.
Cool, hopefully they stay at peace, do all the wrasses get alongyou are correct, there are 3 of them, 1 large male and 2 smaller ones. I will re-home 2 and keep 1 if I see aggression.
so far yes, just chasing each other, flashing and measuring fins. If I see biting I'll intervene.Cool, hopefully they stay at peace, do all the wrasses get along
Thank you i have prazi pro arriving so if i ever do get one ill have it on hand. Thank you for sharing he is beautifulNon of my sand-dwelling wrasses ( I have 5) seem to even know my fairy wrasses are there. But the two groups bicker amongst themselves.
They often come with flukes and intestinal parasites, so I’d recommend QT. But as already mentioned, they are not picky eaters and usually acclimate well after a few days.
Here is mine:
Aw thats cool, would they be agressive to your other wrasses or would they be more passiveMine took about a week before it started to take bites of flakes from my fingers. It was second to last wrasse I added.
My pintail is very passive, but if one of the smaller wrasses get too close it will chase them away and that's about it.Aw thats cool, would they be agressive to your other wrasses or would they be more passive
I have a pintail with orangeback and at first orangeback would harass my pintail and now they get along.. beautiful fish
