pistol shrimp.

about a month ago i caught two wild pistol shrimp ones blood red. and the other sky blue.
and i thought catching two pistol shrimp was awsome but it got better when i found out that she was prego. now my ? is. how long till i have all these pistols shoveling sand.?

Hmm not sure, nice find though, how are they doing without gobies?

pistols can do without a goby if you have no predators, but you just won't see em out as much. I've had Yasha's and Tigers before. The most I had were several in a 100gal.

thanks. theyre doing great. more annoying then anything in the tank. i have a lil 20gal. and theyre making hills . theyre lil construction workers. knocking stuff down and putting it somewhere else.

make sure your rock work is pretty stable, or else they'll start to topple down from all the excavating.
