Grabbed 5 pitho crabs for 2 tanks from reef cleaners. They came in today, very healthy looking. As soon as they hit the bubble algae, they've been nonstop pulling it off and eating it. They borrowed eventually close to some, and continued eating while half buried.

If these guys don't mess with coral too much or fish, and continue the job they're doing, these will be a great purchase. They've got a lot to finish off in my 20 gallon, and some in the 125!

I want to see pictures of them in action as well!! :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Mine liked to uproot coral frags in my sand bed. Every day…never hurt them but it was very annoying lol

Pics and better yet, video! Pitho crabs are so entertaining.

When you get your bubble algae under control, target feed them some nori. Hold it a bit above them. Hilarious! Don't do it now though, you'll spoil them!

Just saw this one eating some this morning with the lights off!
