Where should I place my cyphastrea/meteor shower?
Water flow?
Lighting?

Depends on your lighting. Mine is set up for sps, so it's bright. My cyphastrea was at the bottom, towards the side, somewhat shaded, lighter flow and it had some real nice blue base mad bright red polyps.

I have It in lower light it's been about a month and a half and it looks the same since the day I got it. No growth. It still has it's color just doesn't grow

It's a slow grower for me but mine is also under medium light and medium flow

Careful, cyphastrea in particular meteor shower can be an aggressive coral. Some people will isolate it on a rock otherwise it will encrust and encrust endlessly

I have had it for about two years and the only thing that stings it back are mushrooms and chalices. Otherwise, no stopping this coral.

So when you say agressive, you mean because it grows fast..not because it stings correct?
