Wow I had no idea the arowana(Specifically the asian arowana) was an endangered species, or they fetched such outrageous prices.

Ya thats news to me too. I suppose since they're endangered, come in some nice colorations, and have a dragon like appearance (dragons being part of Chinese culture), I wouldn't mind forking over a few hundred grand for one. Just have to go ask my boss at McDonald's for a raise first ;)
