Plate coral tissue loss underneath.

I've had this plate coral for three months now, I lifted it yesterday to vaccume underneath it there is a circle about two inch diameter that dosen't have any tissue. Is this normal? No paramater swings or anything out of the ordinary, still eats well and looks healthy.

It sounds like your looking at it's skeleton. So ya I'd say that's normal

Yes I have two, and there’s no tissue underneath.
