Anyone seen this before during feeding?
Assuming its part of this plate's feeding mechanism It's cool. First time seeing it.

I can't tell what that is. Whiter lights would help the photo. Is it black stuff coming out of it. To me, it looks like a shrimp molt was caught and it's trying to swallow the molt.

possibly a barnacle embedded in your plate?
