Playground Antics

In today’s “Reefing Playground” episode, there were stand offs, bullying attempts and triumphs. Octo was a bit miffed that Shermie had come up to his turf. Throwing out his warning sweepers he tried his best to push Shermie back and put him in his place. The brawl began and ended with Shermie wearing Octo’s prize sweeper tips. Both slithered away, Octo looking none the worse and Shermie pouting and subsequently blowing up and shutting down. Meantime, Bessie, Shermie’s resident, was frantically seeking to get inside the closed doors as the class bully, a six line named, Smooch, was trying to establish her dominance and authority on the playground. Finally Reefer Bonnie had to blow the time out whistle and separate the offenders. Then to calm and settle the waters and make everyone friends again she offered them an afternoon treat, after which each returned to their favorite spot!
