There is a redberry gorgonian that is like the blueberry gorgonian except with red polyps. Divers Den at liveaquaria had one posted a few days ago (it's sold since then). Hard to tell from picture if that's what you have.
i cant find anything about redberry gorgonian on google
i just wanna know on how much lighting should it be and how much flow it needs to know where to place it.
i have it on the sand bed with somehow low flow but gd lighting, it looks fine but should i point one of the powerheads on it?
if it is a non-photosynthetic gorgornian why does it open during the day and close during the night? arent the photosynthetic gorgornian who does that? if it was a non-photosynthetic shouldnet it open at night and close during the day?.
I had a blueberry gorg that'd open during the day. You have to remember your local time and where they come from isn't the same plus if they think they might catch food they'll open up. I used to squirt food on/near mine and wait 5-15 min and see if it's polyps came out so I could feed it. If it is photosynthetic you should be able to place it high or low in your tank and not have problems. If it needs food feeding it directly at least 3-4 times per week would be required IMO.
