Noticed this guy in my tank and have no idea what it is. If anyone knows and can let me know if it's good or bad that would be awesome.

Can you remove that piece of rock? I see some polyps there over him, so maybe that's a smaller piece of rock? He has many outlets and won't always be in the same place, but they tend to be frequently seen poking their heads out of favorite places. I moved mine by picking up the rock in a net (so he couldn't escape while removing it), but I had a species only tank and didn't mind tearing it up some.

If I can get it out I have no problem sending it to you. Getting it out is going to be almost impossible. That's why I was asking if there's a way to kill it then remove it. I've only spotted it a few time and I'd have to probably take everything out to catch it. That is unless someone knows of a way that I can trap it.

May I ask why you'd want it? I have heard nothing but bad news about those guys (but I LOVE strange hitchhikers, so I can understand).

Find a fish trap and put your most expensive little fish inside you'll catch him in a matter of hours. LOL Just kidding

I love all the strange Critters. Worms and bugs are some of my favorite things to watch in my reef system. I have a 6 inch deep sand bed refugium that is side by side with no way of the worm escaping into the rest of the system. That will be his home Unless I decide it's too risky and which case I will set up a tank specifically for him. Such interesting things.

The rock I saw it hiding in last night is the main rock holding the rest of my aquascape together so I cant just move that rock. Im going to try the food in panty hose that was mentioned and see if I can catch this creature. Would really be a pain in the rear to tear everything out.

Hey mine is still good and alive.... just waiting to find him in a removable rock lol. I think it is on to me as it has taken to the huge base rocks of late.

No worries. @Naiad More than one would be fantastic. Maybe I'll have my own tank and see if I can breed them. Awesome
