Thanks for the response, I think the trade name for #2 is jack-o-lantern, still unsure about #1, I think you are right about it being a Monti but I've never seen this particular piece so I had to pick it up, sorry for the sideways pics I'll try to add another

Yes it is montipora but hard to tell what kind from the picture.
