1. Fusilier Damsel (are they commonly available? Do they jump often?)
2. Absolutely no idea
3. Atlantic Jewel Damsel (okay I can say right off the bat I’m not getting this one, 6” and very aggressive)
4. Chromis caudalis?
5. Ocellate Damselfish (aggressive so I’ll pass)
6. Richardson’s Reef Chromis?
7. Absolutely no idea
8. King demoiselle (Chrysiptera rex)-I’ll consider it
9. Springer’s demoiselle (heard they’re really peaceful, gonna consider getting a couple of these)
10. No idea
11. Atlantic Sergeant Major (no way I’m getting one of these)
So far, among these, I will consider:
1. Fusilier Damsels
2. King Demoiselle
3. Springer’s Demoiselle
These for schooling, 3-5. On top of that I’m considering Azure Damsels (3-5) and Talbot’s Damsels (3-5). Rolland’s are hard to find. I might get some Yellowtail Demoiselles (Neopomacentrus Azysron) too.
That all sounds right, basically Chrystipera genus damsels are relatively peaceful and can usually be kept in small groups. Fusilier damsels are also peaceful and more open water swimmers, they are harder to find.
Great! I’ve also come up with another idea to get them to school together. I’ll be adding a Marine Betta (maybe even a pair) to my list of must have fish.
