Please help my zoas

They have been closed for weeks now. Everything else seems fine:
Mushrooms
Hammer
Kenya tree
Open brain
Bta
Fish
My parameters are:

Sg 1.026
Ph 8.10
DKH 7.5
Ammonia 0
Phosphates 0.16
Nitrates 0.20
Mg 1170
Ca 470

I never dose anything. Should I be to keep my alkilinty higher?
Any other tips to make these guys happy?

Zoas like more organics in the water. :)

Can you feed more flake food?

Side note: Get your cal down to about 440 and bring up your mag to about 1350.

If your mag is too low your cal and alk ions will bind together stopping your corals to be able to take in the cal and alk.

Try to feed everyday without putting your hands in the tank. Continue normal water changes, remove any nitrate or phosphate removal and leave the tank alone at all cost.. I have been through the same thing and a dirty tank is key along with keeping your hands out.

agreed-I keep all my tanks at 5-8 nitrates (one naturally is that low with water changes and one needs to have all the filtration i can get to keep it that low lol) with more organics in the water and stable parameters, they will have a better immune response when things arent to their liking.

So just like a few others I have had this happen as well. Stable out all your parameters, increase your mg, lower your Ca. I would also lower both Nitrates and Phosphates. They are not picky at all but when they are ticked you will know. More/less flow and light can get them out. Thats just my 2 cents

you realized it was a 0.2 not 20 nitrates right?
at first I had to double check lol you cant get much lower than that ;)

I was thinking more along the lines of maybe it's being stung by the anemone

I dont know, it definitely could be, but even the ones away from the anemone are acting that way.

Yes I did mess up. Nitrates are 20. Not .2.

The nem never touches them. I moved the rock a little farther away so it wouldn't.
Something needs to give them a pep talk.

Is your Mg more than mine?
I think I need to raise that and lower my Ca.

that's a good question. i currently doing have a test kit for Mg right now. last i checked my Ca was around 470.

Question...my zoas have just started to close...all parameters are good except i have a nitrate reactor and checked nitrate and phosphate ...both are completly at "0"....could this be the reason....i target feed mon,wed,fri..40g breeder, 5g wc every week...if it is so how do i get them back up...just feed more with reactor off and monitor?
