Just got this guy today and prepping him for QT and noticed the large white spots.... They seem to be too big for ich? Any thoughts on what it is and how to treat?

Yes, those are stress spots, you may also see them at night. If they don't go away, that means the stress is also not going away, and you'll need to rectify that.
