So I was doing a little work on my tank and noticed a couple of these things in my refugium. A couple days went by and I decided to look to see if they made it anywhere else in my tank and needless to say they did. The majority of them are in the first chamber of my sump. None in my display other than the couple I accidentally put there with the net. Not sure how they got in my system but they are definitely reproducing and appear to be growing. Haven't noticed any ill effects yet. They look like fuzzy white balls and they mostly stick to the walls of my sump. Anybody experience this before? Are they bad or good? What are they?

Cool. So I guess I'll just let them be cause they're not I'm my display and I'm all about having beneficial component to my reef but will they eventually die off or will they just keep multiplying?

They will self regulate depending on feeding. The more you feed the more they will multiply.
