Please help.

I'm having issues with growth on my duncon and frog spawn corals. 55 gal tank that is almost a year old. Rodi water used. Two fluval led marine lights. Both are 48 inches. One is set on blue and one is set on whites. Blues are at 100% and whites are below 50 percent.

Ph- 7.8/80
Ammonia- 0 ppm
Nitrite- 0 ppm
Nitrate- 0 ppm
Calcium- 450-460 ppm

Ph through nitrate is tested with API test. Calcium is tested with salifert test.

Frogspawn is placed in moderate flow, halfway up tank.

Duncon is in moderate flow bottom of tank.

Neither are covered or in shade.

Wanting to get advise on how to get grown put of both corals. Frogspawn was purchased with two heads about 5 months ago. No grown. Duncon was purchased 3 months ago with 2 large heads and just started a small third. No growth. Please help.

Alkalinity and po4 is a good start.
Depending on your alkalinity you may have a low nutrient load
Also lighting may be a contributing factor also

pictures say 1000 words as well. also don't expect growth right away, the coral has been shocked during shipment on both ends and also depending how you acclimated the coral and how often you've been moving it around. leave it be, and when its ready to grow it will. (As long as it looks healthy)

Alk was just tested with salifert test aND it registered 9.9-9.6

They don't have to eat, but, generally respond well when fed.

I'd guess lighting would be the cause.

I got a blue+pink hammer last december and is has only recently sprouted 2 new heads. It's large head is also splitting into 2 smaller ones, and that began in february. I don't see anything wrong with your setup, it might just be that your corals are still recovering. Euphyllia and Duncanopsammia are also not particularly known for their growth rates. Just give them a few more months, but keep parameters where they are.

How do I replinish my organic load? Phytoplankton? Some kind of suppliment? Reef roids?

Besides new heads, I've always gauged the general health of my frogspawn by the amount of tissue on the stalks. It seems to come and go.

I turn off flow and baste mine with mysis, which they slowly consume.

Yeah, I thaw frozen mysis in some tank water, suck it up into a turkey baster, then squirt a little onto the open head of frogspawn with all the flow off. It'll close up around the shrimp and eat it. I feed mine no mine once a week, probably less.
