I received this as a freebie frag with another shipment. I originally thought that it is montipora, but it appears too smooth to me and I never see the polyps retract. Could it be something else?

I just woke up so the light is hurting my eyes lol, but looks like a leather to me. May change when I can see better though [emoji23]
 
Sort of looks like an encrusting porites but don't quote me; it's really hard to see the detail in those photos.

The base is smooth underneath the polyps like yours but I believe the polyps are going to be a bit longer with the variety I have. Encrusts and grows like a monti.
 
That picture looks a lot more like porites to me now! The first pictures it looked smooth to me with a few short polyps barely sticking out, like I often see with annoyed leathers. With the latest pictures they definitely look like porites to me.
