Would those of you with SB Reef Lights please share your Max setting on channel 1 and 2 during mid day? I am very curious as to what intensity most people are using. Also Mike If you want to weigh in that would be great as well.

Following here. I bleached out some new acros but those that were in my other system started coloring up nicely. I still have everything set extremely low right now.

I have a wifi unit with the 10 intervals and my max on my acclimation option that I created was 30-50-100 and that bleached out some of my newer acros. I'd like to see what ramp up and down settings people are using with the wifi units if anyone has them.

I run 2 16" 9" off the water. 85B 55W with mostly SPS.

Are those wifi units? what ramp up are you using. My max is at 45/15 on blue/white right now and my efflo is completely white. Nice pastel green with the uv on in the morning. My Garf is a pastel purple at this point as well. Some of the others that were in my biocube under some nanobox leds are browning out though, while my Green Soli is even brighter green than in these pictures : https://reefbuilders.com/2014/08/12/green-acropora-solitaryensis-exported-australia/

Mine are just basic units using cheap timers. The blues come on at 12:00 and run until 9:30. The whites come on at 1:30 and run until 8:00. I would leave my settings where you have them for a couple of weeks if I was you. I bleached some acros when I switched and left them turned down low for a few weeks and then came up 5% a week until I got to my current setting which I do not intend to change ever.

Yea the cool thing with the wifi unit is I did as Mike suggested and put in 7 different settings at this point for acclimation purposes. I can just go in and select the one I want and activate it. Right now I'm on acclimation 1, or A1 as I have it coded. Whats nice about this is I can then just go back if I need to when I get a new frag if I don't want to place it on the sand bed.

Right now my lights are only about 5 inches off the water. I put them in the canopy and that's as far off as I can get them. I may cut the canopy and set them on top which will put them about 12 inches off the water. I hate to do it because its a custom made stand and canopy but even if I ever go away from these lights no one will ever see the top of the canopy.
