@Salty.Reefer You need to go fallow in your DT for 6 weeks to starve brook out of there. When you put a fish with brook back into the tank it was taken from, the fish just keeps getting reinfected over & over. At least this is what happens some of the time. Other times the fish becomes asymptomatic for months (or even years), but the infection usually returns following a "stressor event". 6 weeks fallow is the only way to be done with it once & for all.

It's always beneficial when practicing disease management, but it never completely solves the problem.
