  • I've recently just purchased a used 140 bowfront that was used and drilled in the bottom with 3 tall standpipes and no weirs / overflow boxes . I would like to use it as a seahorse only tank now but the more I read the more I see the open standpipe plumbing will not work for good skimming production . My wife loves the tank but I'm at a lose of how I'm going to make this tank work . Any thoughts or help in re plumbing this tank ?

Have an acrylic overflow box made and you can hide the pipes. a photo of the hole placement would be great, and hole sizes.
