My tank is in my office at home. What are your thoughts on using orange oil to polish the desk and cabinets in the office in close proximity to the tank? I have used pledge before but I spray it into a cloth in another room not in the office. Orange oil has a slight odor to it. Any chance the fumes might cause an issue?

I use lemon oil on my 8’ dining table. No issues. I do try to do it when I can open windows for a few hours

Is it close to the tank?
Prob 10 feet away. The table is pretty big. I think it’s about 10’x3’. Takes a lot of oil and I let it sit for 24 hours before wiping it off.

DO YOU USE A PAR METER WHEN PLACING NEW CORAL IN YOUR TANK?

  • Yes! I think it's important for the longterm health/growth of my coral.
