All aminos are effective as long as they are applied per manufacturers. I think dosing aminos would be overkill but also depends upon tank volume.
My favorites are acropower, ME Coral, Red sea energy and Brightwell amino

Anybody dosing acro power?
I use it occasionally but I find if I use it to often I get some sort of black stain/growth on rock and coral. I use to have the same problem with Black Powder AA which I don’t think they even sell anymore because of that problem. I guess I don’t really know if I should dose AA or not

anyone care to update if they have still been dosing AA

I dose aminos regularly

Started dosing Red Sea Reef Energy a few weeks ago. My corals show slightly better polyp extension after the the Reef Energy has been added. Also I was having tissue recession on a hammer coral, the reef energy seems to have stopped/slowed down the tissue recession. I would recommend aminos if you are ULN (0 Nitrate). Although after dosing this stuff I have seen increased algae growth on the glass.
