I built a 36" DIY from LEDGroupBuy (Milad is awesome to work with), I then added a 36" T5 to it and want to add another, I couldn't be happier with my current set up. Another poster said it best earlier with don't try and flood your tank with par, I kept trying to dial it up, thinking more is better, but in the end, my tank looks much better running around 60%. The only complaint I have on my set up is the shimmer is just "so so", I am very envious of the Kessil 360's that i have seen in person, that shimmer is fantastic.

No splashing problems, my water surface is pretty calm and I'm super careful when playing in the tank and water changes. Honestly I can set the light % at watever I want unless I'm putting new corals I like to acclimate cuz I did fry a gold torch coral I got a while back. At least I came to the conclusion it was the light bcuz my other corals were fine. In the Pic above the lights set at
DR 35%
RV 25%
CW 7%
GB 3%
BB 3%
DB 0% But Im acclimating new coral.

I usually run them at
DR 75%
RV 60%
CW 12%
GB 7%
BB 5%
DB 2% This is the color set up I like now. I use to really like the white look of a tank but now that Ive played with it many many times I found I like this color look best. The deep red makes it look nice, I'd like to try changing a puck or two cuz I dnt really care for deep blue.

My vote would be only slightly partial to the AI.

My vote would be parial to the AI . That being said I proly wouldn't use either as it would take at least four/five units to cover a 2x2 foot area SPS dominant cube . XR 15 pro or Hydra 26's . What scares me is the merger of ET and AI .AI has still not released the prime yet. It's not that I would use them but it brings back the Nvidia buyout/merger with voodoo. We all know what happened with that one.

I'm partial to Kessil's. Been using them for a few years now and can't see myself buying anything else. Currently running the A360 narrow with Kessil Spectral Controller.
