SE Plusrites on old magnetic ballasts, change them yearly.

I am using Phoenix 14k double ended HQI lamps and drive them with two Aqua Medic Reeflux magnetic ballasts. I love the way the Phoenix lamps look.
 
I use Phoenix 14K DE bulbs. I am not as concerned as PAR as I am of the bulbs shifting color to the red side
 
Has anyone used a 250w Phoenix 14 se bulb and a 250w radium se?
Curious how they compare. I ran the de Phoenix in the past, nice color but I was never happy with the spread of de bulbs.
