Polyp lab genesis

I was wondering if anyone has used this or knows much about it. The bacteria is supposed to form nutrient consuming biofilms. What exactly does this mean by biofilm?

Noticed Zoa on two of my empty crab shells!

So I was looking at the tank last night throw my Flipper Magnifier and noticed Zoa’s on two of my empty crab shells toward the back of the tank. Wondered if any one else’s has since this in their tank?
