Hi

Just wondering why the heads on my lords and blastos are so big compared to those pictures you usually see.
Normally, I see heads tightly 'squezzed' together, but mine are not like that at all.
Acan heads are from 0.5"-1" in diameter, and my 2 blastos can do 2"+
Is it flow or lighting related?

Blastos on 1.8" plug. The back one is easily covering the whole plug.

Lords with big heads.

Blasto merletti’s are smaller, it also helps that you only have 1-2 polyps, once they grow into a larger colony the polyps will have less space to spread out.

I don’t have any experience with Acans.

I would say they are happy. My blastos are roughly 1.5-2 inches as well. Healthy!

Thanks.

It could very well be the sufficient space.
It has 5-6 new heads, so I will see if it changes in the future.
Lords, usually looks the same way, but mine seem to just overlap eachother instead of pressing against eachother.
