Where to place the power heads will get the best polys extension? Bare bottom SPS dominant tank. High? Mid? Low? Using two MP40 each side on a Elos 120.

With 2 MP40's I would put them about 6 inches down in the middle of the side panels and run them in reef crest mode at no less than 60% depending on your rock work. Also I would try the anti sync mode with one of them, this is a great program for SPS.

^ I agree with reeferdood. Also Crank those things up as much as possible. If you can run 100% thats awesome as the stronger the flow I found the better the PE.

For a BB tank I would do one as high to the surface as possible without creating a vortex. Other one I would place below the midway point. This is how I've been running my MP60s lately, and it really keeps the bottom of the tank clean and good circulation. I would just start them off at 100% honestly.
