Pom pom crab arriver dead, can i save the anemones?

Today my pom pom crab arrived dead (the package had a hole and so it was without water and cold), as noob as i am, can i save his anemones or they die without him?

The anemone has nothing to do with the crab and can easily survive. Not 100% guaranteed because of the conditions it was shipped in but anemones have no love for crabs.

No, just put the thing in the tank and see what happens. These isn't that much "meat" in one of those crabs to harm anything and the bacteria will be beneficial. As long as it is not a brand new tank like a few days or weeks old.

It’s an 8 gallon 2 months old, still very small so i prefer not to put a things that rot, I don’t think just one nassarius and one monetaria could eat it, the only fish is a super little clown goby.


shows general care. I have no idea how to get such small anemones to attach
When i put it out of the empty bag (the one that he arrived with) and in some tank water i saw the anemones ejecting some glue like thing? So at the end i didn’t want to risk anything.

In an 8 gallon young tank, I would remove the crab
