I have one. Named him Waldo (as in where's Waldo). Whenever I'm looking for him I can't find him but he does pop out at least once a week usually at feeding time. Was initially a little afraid for him as I have a monster emerald crab in there too. However, several times I have seen them right next to each other and no problems.
This was a few days ago. You can see the size difference between the pom pom and emerald.

Haha perfect name and that’s about the same size I have. Maybe the fire shrimp keeps him in hiding

Is there a way to lure these guys out liek with a feeding stick or something? heck what do they even eat lol probably anything meaty but guessing by the pompoms they are also filter feeders.

Mine would disappear for ages in my 6g and then low and behold I would spot them filter feeding after I put some reef roids in after lights out. Crazy creatures. I did have one out of like 4 that came out more and was more adventurous.

Agree, it does hides alot. I only see it when I feed Mysis to my tank.
