Ok so i moved about 3 months ago and my tank crashed. I lost tons of stuff. So my tank is a little bear right now and i have been waiting on its next move. I finally got the ok from my wife to finish in the basement. And my dream for the past 10 years iv been keeping a reef tank is my own tank room. So i started it today. Let me know if their is any most haves for a tank room.

My tank is a 2 foot by 4 foot about 120 gallons. It will be built in the wall as a corner display. My tank room will hide all my apex and sump and fug. I installed a small utility sink last night. And i will be putting my ro in the room as well as a mixing station.

Looking good, the only way to move a tank easily is to move it from one tank to another, that way you can get the the new tank cycled and start adding things slowly. The fish room looks great.

Has anyone used fiberglass sheeting like you would use in a shower? Im putting it over all the walls around the tank to help with moisture and condensation.

Sound insulation is a big one for me if it's going to be in your living room. It's nice to look at your tank and not hear anything. If you have the money and you want to a mini split system to deal with a evaporation in the room isn't a bad idea either.
