Poor experience with Camaro Show Corals

Unfortunately echoing nearly the same experience as Turnage in his recent post about @Camaro Show Corals in which he had agreed to ship corals in which I do not hear anything from him until after the fact. The 2nd time he was supposed to ship was this past Thursday which he said would be good for a Friday delivery since it worked for my schedule only to not hear back until later Friday with more excuses as to why he did not ship again. The first time he did not ship he said he was offline for awhile. I get it, everyone is busy, but better communication is a must especially after I pay him $400 for a JF HW, SC OP and mystery box. Not only do I get excuses, but he has the gall to say that "making a fuss doesn't help anything and we do have a 24 page customer blacklist on r2r". Very disappointing first time experience with this vendor which is unfortunate since he seems to have a nice selection of corals and I have a 550 gallon system I am in the process of filling. I am hoping I will get my order soon after being told several times I will get them the next week.

Funny you leave out the threat to me saying you know my name and it’s a small world in the medical industry. This first time I’ve been on after my show all day today.

I think most people on here would tell you I take care of my customers. You ordered cut to order frags, the 2 week heal time is only a Minimum. I don’t see anything wrong with you being on the list to go out this following week and an order taking a few extra weeks. Like I told you I do travel overnight often all week long at times as I do have a full time day job and probably do as many orders as some full time Vendors on here. Which means I need to plan and coordinate with the weeks I’m home locally which can change sometimes. Most people don’t have any issue waiting for their corals especially with the success and health of my corals. If you do deal with reps all the time then you should know and be accommodating how busy and high stress this job can be at times let alone the amount of time away from home. I only did about 17 orders this week as 1 man operation, busting my butt to get as many done till the last minute.


Sounds like your someone who should just buy from full
Time stores like WWC and TSA from now on.

Sorry my screenshot left the last bit of that out. With those other vendors, I at least get healthy corals delivered when they say they are going to ship them. They don’t send me reviews on why they are a great vendor while holding my order as punishment. If you want to prove what a great vendor you are, just send me the corals I paid you for over a month ago. You said you were going to ship them twice by now and specifically agreed to shipping them last Thursday with no updates.

Again my work schedule changes rapidly and it’s not a 9-5 type job at the same location, some days I’m home early, some days home late, some weeks I’m home every working a 1-2 hour radius, some weeks I’m 8 hours away and in hotels all week. I certainly see telling you I’ll get you out this week probably Wednesday as an update. Most people understand about getting their shipment changed, just about every vendor does it and I’ve had it happen to me 100s of times. I do try to be fair to everyone, some folks what their stuff held longer or travel too so shipping dates get moved all around. No one is getting their order held as punishment, there’s plenty of other customers and I try to keep orders in line as much as possible, it’s not fair to just jump your order infront of 5 others waiting to go out just because you wanna complain. I sent you reviews because you obviously didn’t believe me when I said I have very happy customers and many repeats, including one from a customer this weekend at the show I was at. I’ve been around a long time and there’s many corals that are still in the hobby because of me, I think anyone who knows me will say very good things as I have plenty of friends in this hobby.

Update: I was able to talk to Camaro Show Corals on Thursday and confirmed shipping. Received my corals Friday and was happy with what he delivered. Corals were nice size and healthy. Happy this was resolved positively!
