To those of you that know scolymia, could this be possible croc island scolys? Purchased from a seller who called it a hybrid welso-scoly stating he’d never seen this type before. Resembles the croc island one, photo taken fir comparison, photo 1. The rest are mine. Opinions?

I had a couple before the bobbit worm episode, which looked like yours, fat and plumped. These are more of an oblong, thin tissue, waving in the current type. The photo before CB carved it up didn't look like a scoly at all. Today I wish I had that photo. It was a few years ago. The photo of the round one... was a second mouth on the second piece of this same coral. I had purchased two very tiny pieces. The one with colors is the other piece. It could be a fluke scoly, who knows. Thanks for reply.

The largest one, which I didn't cut, is more oblong.

I found the original photo from CB post. What is this a cross breed? Of course the ink has darkened over 8 yrs I’m guessing.
