Possibly... the World's Slowest Tank Build

Saving some of my major upgrades for the winter... lol. When I am not working on the house. We are residing now.
That's a great plan. You don't want to go rushing into any major upgrades.

Well... i guess it is time to tell you all about how i overflowed my skimmer last week.

Added some AB+ Reef Energy. Didn't think anything about it until i went to feed that night and everything had salt Crystals. The skimmer was just bubbling clean sw out the top like a can of soda.

Good reason to feed daily so you look underneath and keep electronics out from under the stand as much as possible.

Look on the bright side: your skimmer is working well.

So I am not sure what happened recently. I dose AF Component 1+, 2+, 3+. While testing yesterday I noticed my ALK had dropped, while all my parameters were within range. I have Kalk, but did not want anything else to swing, since everything was within range.

I ended up confirming my ALK with a different test kit, and same thing. Took me a minute, but I remembered that I normally buy pure sodium bicarb in bulk for the pool to raise the ALK. Did a little bit of reading to confirm, and boom. Household fix to my alk problem.

Now, seperate issue. Time to figure out why my alk swong so much. I think it might be the coralline?
